I asked my sister this question and she said it's an ego thing. That because he asked you and then even though you didn't have an interest back that it was possession. Now if she then introduced you to her a friend that would be okay. So it's the fact that you asked her first and that she felt she Owned you for that.
Also, it might be she likes you and was just not ready for something at that point and now you've asked a friend.

Well, I am not a lady and if you did not want a man to answer, so sorry. I feel in a corner of her mind, the lady is pleased at the affection and attention being shown by another man, even if she is in no position to reciprocate the same. So, when the man shifts his attentions to another woman, even if she is her best friend, a tinge of jealousy will crop its head. Even the woman may be surprised at her reaction, but this is nature.

That is so common for women to do b/c they expect guys to keep running after them its a ego thing yet on the other hand we find it disrespectful to have a guy go after our friends after trying to be with us it can start alot of conflict between the women as friends.lol

If I wasn't interested in him, why would I care that he's now interested in a friend of mine. Now if I know he's a jerk, I'm certainly going to let her know, but other than that, I could care less.

I guess it's just because girls and guys are different. If a girl likes you she'll still like you once you rejected her!
As for a guy, if it doesn't work with one girl, he just tries someone else, and that is hard to understans for a girl, especially when you're hitting on her friend.
Knowing that, try not to do it, there are girls everywhere, why pick her???

I'm going to assume that someone turned you down rudely. Very rudely. But it sounds like you moved on, and now she's mad at you for some reason?
My suggestion would be to just ignore her. She wants attention, but she doesn't want to be with you.
