Bubble and Squeak you can make with any vegetable leftovers from a roast dinner normally mainly roast potatoes, cabbage, carrotts etc.. you fry it all up together in some butter and I've always thought it gets the name because as you cook it it bubbles and if you press down on the mixture in the pans it squeaks!
Sausage and Mash (or Bangers and Mash) as it's sometimes called is just beef or pork sausages and mashed potato. Lovely with lots of butter on the mash and thick onion gravy!

Bubble and Squeak is a very old fashioned English dish. Its made of left over mashed potatoe and cabbage, fried up in a pan. Nowadays people add bacon pieces and other vegetables like chopped carrot, peas and onion. Its very tasty and eaten for breakfast, sometimes with bacon and eggs. Sausage and mash is just mashed potato with fried sausages, onions and gravy. Bet you have not heard of Toad in the Hole! That is sausages cooked in batter in the oven!

Bubbles and squeek is an old Irish dish of mashed potatoes with cabbage and onion with a poached egg on top. The mashed potatoes are fried in a pan and allowed to brown on the bottom.

Sausage and mash are literally sausages with mashed potatoes. (Sometimes the potatoes are mashed with oil instead of butter or mixed with horseradish, but not always).
