Start practicing with your left hand! I had surgery on my right hand for carpal tunnel syndrome on Nov. 20th, It took about 8 wks. for me to be able to sign my name. I did get legible with my left, I started with printing and worked up to cursive. I'm sure the teachers will understand if your penmanship is not the best til you can use your right hand again.

The funny thing about Gangelion cysts is that they can come back, quickly. My daughter had surgery,it came back. She did what the doctor suggested the first time...........take a hard back book, place your hand on the table, palm side up. Take the book and smash your hand as hard as you can. It pops the cyst and you avoid surgery. She was afraid to do it the first t ime so we paid for the surgery, second time,I said get the book. It worked, it hasn't come back, it's been 8yrs now. Save some money, smash it.

Why don't you talk to your teachers and see if you can't work something out with them?
It occurs to me that you must know how to type, so you could perhaps type your assignments. Or perhaps your teachers will allow you to get the help of another person, like your mom. In school, you could bring a recorder to record the classes, but only with your teachers' permission.
