Without giving away too much of my history..
I used to think I had to have sex to keep a guy. What I found, is that SO many guys will get bored with you a lot faster, if you give it up sooner.
The best relationships I have had, were guys that I had as friends, long before we got involved. Sex is important to TALK about in a relationship. But if you're only dating, it's one of the last things I think you should explore about each other.

To me, creating a friendship and bond is much more important than having sex. Sex is something very special that two people share that is intimate and respectful. Sex in a relationship is brought on by emotions and passion that comes from really knowing someone. Otherwise to me, sex is just an act. If that is what you are looking for then, do it, but I don't think that is what you are looking for. If you weren't looking for more, you wouldn't be asking. Good luck!

A relationship between a man and a woman mean: love, caring one another and sex too.Sex is 50\50 important in a relationship. If the couple is satisfy enough when they have sex, that is 50 % of the relationship. The other 50% is how they understand each other as:comprehension, good communication, sharing everything, being honest, never saying a lie, support each other in good and bad times, being a good listener, etc. Many couples finished the relationship, because there was only sex,but not good understanding.Others finished because they have everything but not a good sex.Good question.

Don't kid your self it's important. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say it's a 3, with 1 being honesty and 2 being chemistry.

It goes without saying that it depends on the individuals, whether you're married or dating, yadda yadda yadda.
Yes, some sort of sex life is important to any long-term intimate relationship (married or not).
Ultimately, though, I think the most important factor is.... (drumroll please) how much do you have in common OUTSIDE the bedroom? That is what really determines the level of importance between the sheets.

Sex can be part of the relationship. But it is not what makes a relationship. Respect and caring for each other is more important.
Remember NO CONDOM NO SEX!

To some young people it is very important. Ifyou want kids it is very important I can't have kids & my husband is on a medication that lowers his sex drive - We are both in our 50's so we really don't make a big deal out of it

It really depends on the individuals! If you both enjoy each other's friendship, then it's o.k. If there is a physicial attraction, then sex might be up towards the top. It just depends on what you both think of each other.
