If your hair is really thin, the perm won't look natural at all! And the problem with a one time perm is that there'll be a big difference between the perm hair and your hair that grows just straight. So, then you have to wait until your hair grow all the way back, the perm won't go away, it's gonna fade a little, but that's it!
Maybe you should just curl it yourself sometimes. It looks great on thin hair, and it gives you a different style for a while.
+ perms extremely dry the hair.

It is not a good idea to chemically treat fine hair. It takes really good hair stylist to have great hair cut, so invest in a great hair cut and stop tormenting your hair by chemicals, please.

Make sure to wait two weeks and it will be O.K. Go to the salon and ask her/him to leave the length.
