They have a pointed position toward to destroy anyone who dissapoints. Besides, the U. S. has a descomunal war machine which needs to be in action anyway. It means: the more they use it, the more profits they get, regardless all the lives lost. It´s just senseless not to notice that the middle east has their own already. No matter what they say: it´s the triumph of the stupid at all.

Because the only way we can lose is to quit. Our troops will not and cannot be defeated in the field. The only way we can lose is to cut and run.

In Somalia less than 200 U.S. troops took on almost an entire city, we lost several soldiers in the "black hawk down" battle. But the survivors managed to fight their way out of the city killing approximately 4 or 5,000 of the opposing combatants. Our politicians cut and ran, and forced our troops to leave. The terrorist were emboldened and many believe as do I that the 9/11 attack was the final result.

Finally I don't think we have the option of losing. If we cut and run the terrorist will again be emboldened and will follow up with more massive attacks here in the U.S.

because they are made to believe what the current president tells them in the media, when in reality, it is a second "Vietnam" and the troops are gonna eventually come back home coz you are right -- the iraq war is a no win situation.

I'm a supporter. It isn't that I don't recognize that, but that I look at the alternative and the most likely results of pulling out. I don't want a bad situation to become a global disaster that throws the entire region into war. I don't want to leave things worse than we found them, and I want to curb further escalation.

I have mixed feelings about this war.I've been there, done that. The fact of the matter is if we cut and run not only will we have Al-Quida to worry about but also these lone factious extremists. There has not been a terrorist attack on American soil since we have been in Iraq.If we leave them hanging then 9-11 is going to look like a fourth of July picnic.

I think America and it's allies already kicked butt in Iraq. Thus won the war....

Now their in the clean up phase, that is the cause of problems. Thinking a democracy will work there is insane(Shall we say Islam)....

Now its just a matter of damage control, thats how i see it as a firm war supporter. The war has been mishandled and we cant deal with this guerilla warfare any longer.

Muslims are a very unstable group of people. It would be nice if we could build a wall around Iraq and let them kill each other or make peace. Their choice.
