It's gotta be held in with something... maybe silicone... disconnect the drains and the faucet supplies and try to get a utility knife in-between the sink and the counter to cut the silicone... call your friend (the one that bench-presses volkswagens) and ask him/her to help you lift and push upward to get it un-stuck... :)

If it doesn't have clips it is probably caulked real good. Use a putty knife, tap it under the lip, lifting up, probably have to pry really hard, go all the way around. This will do it.
