The excuses people give for staying in Iraq are the same as they gave to stay in Vietnam. They are based on no facts. When we leave, they will continue to fight amongst themselves (just like in VN) until one side wins the civil war. Vietnam now has healthy economy; Iraq will too someday, but not until we leave.

Iraq won't jsut work itself out. Thousands more maybe even millions of Iraqis will die no matter what. The Iranians will help with this and galvanize the Iraqis against America. Iraq would become a safe haven for extremist Shi'a muslims who wish to kill westerners. basically the whole region would destabilize. I don't like the war in Iraq, I don't think we are handling it correctly but I don't think we should leave now.

I think we need a presence in Iraq but only to secure the borders while the Iraqi police and armed forces secure the rest of the country. Howeve Afghanistan should take a bigger priority as that is where the terrorist begin to hatch the plan to attack the world trade center.

possibly one would desire to be sure in what context Iraq is a warfare. iraq is an occupied usa. Occupied international places often rally a resistence via their human beings against their occupiers. in this context how precisely does the worldwide 'terrorist' slot in? have been the French resistence in WWII terrorists via fact they battled the Germans who occupied their usa? of path many s**t disturbers have pored into Iraq which replace into best for civil and spiritual strife if everyone ever broke down the as quickly as element that united the individuals of that usa - concern of their repressive government. Iraq is specific to interrupt into a number of international locations with Iran rising as a interior reach potential and the real winner of this 'journey'. to attempt to be so black and white and say they're terrorists who 'hate freedom' is common stupid...they see this warfare as a warfare for their own freedom it fairly is a brilliant irony.

The US Military IS focused on Afghanistan (we CAN multi-task)... please note that AFGHANISTAN is a NATO Theater of Operations... Authorized by the United Nations Security Council (UNSCR 1386) on December 20, 2001.
US Forces make up half of the NATO forces... and the European Nations are well behind in their troop contributions.

Seeing how the Taliban are opening schools up again in Afghanistan that would be a good idea.

The US should declare neutrality and apologize to the world for interfering with so many places it shouldn't have been. Like Vietnam.... there are exceptions like WW2...
