Stretch Marks will NEVER go away, they will fade away a little but will never leave you. You can either use a self tanner (which works really good) and helps them not look like they are there. Or you can pay money to have them laser removed or something along that line. I use cocoa butter, and it helps them fade a little.

Stretch marks are scars sweetie, deep scars...Where the skin was stretched beyond it's normal limit. I know they suck. They will lighten and turn white once you have lost all your weight, but they never go away... You can go to the doctor and ask for a prescription of Retin-A which is said to help over time. Try tanning a little and that helps blend the skin tones. Also, keep your skin moisturized.

why embarrassed? everyone has them! EVERYONE! well most women do... we all get stretch marks from puberty. i have them on my hips since my hips grew in fast. ut if oyu loose weight. not they will not go away. they will be there for good and here really isnt anything you can do to make them go away completely BUT you can use palmers cocoa butter and see if that helps. or i hear buying gel capsules of vitamin E and poking them with a neelde. emptying out the pil on your hand and rubbing it on the effected area can also help minimize thier appearance. i do not know how long it will take. i guess it depends if you use it every day of not. but they say always wait 6 months befoe ANY skin care products starts to show results..

sweetie you will always have stretchmarks...they do fade away most of the way, I have 2 kids and I still see some stretchmarks, but there really isn't anything out there to reduce them to nothing, there are a few products out there that say they reduce and help them to fade but so far I haven't seen any proven. My stretchmarks took about 6 months to fade out most of the way, but as I still have some weight to lose after my last child I still have some that are more noticeable than others. People put too much into their looks, I'm not saying you should like your stretchmarks but accepting that you will still have some is a start.

They don't really go away. I have them from being pregnant 6 years ago and they're still here. They change from that purple color to white/clear color so they're not as noticeable but they are still there. They do have those stretch mark creams. You can try cocoa butter lotion or Avon makes a really good stretch mark/cellulite cream called Super Shape. It just helps to firm up your skin.

Congratulations on the weight loss. Stretch marks are natural, most people get them at some time of their life. Don't be embarrassed.
I don't really know how to get rid of them, my friend who has 2 kids swears by vitamin e. another friend tans but i think they're a little more noticeable on her...

If they are faint white lines, then they may fade away. You can get skin-tightening lotion, or Palmer's Body Butter and such at Walmart to help. If they are the purple pregnancy marks, ha, its gonna take some time... My son is almost 3 and I have mine still.
