I have the exact same problem. This is what I do each day to make it less frizzy:
The night before, blow dry it with a diffuser. It's O.K. if it's puffy at night time.
In the morning, I flatten it out with some water.
I put some gel all through it to keep it nice and smooth.
Throughout the day if you go into a bathroom, make sure you don't have any frizzies.
You can also put a headband in your hair. This will help.
Once in a while, let it go frizzy and puffy, let it go WILD!!
Some gels you can use are Bed Head products, or just some plain frizz - control product.
Hope I helped!!!

John Frieda's Frizz Ease works for my unruly hair and it doesn't make my hair dull, sticky, or greasy...
1 - Shampoo with Straight Ahead Style-Starting Daily Shampoo (twice)
2 - Condition with Straight Ahead Style-Starting Daily Conditioner (once)
3 - Before towel-drying, rub in Hair Serum Extra Strength then comb through (then towel dry a bit)
4 - After towel-drying, rub in Corrective Styling Gel with Encapsulated Silicone then comb through
5 - Blow dry hair
6 - Flat iron hair
Or, if you want it curly, use the Curl Around shampoo/conditioner and skip Step 6. Works miracles for me.

dont u hate that?! im biracial to and to soften and define my curls i use the garnier fructis line. after i get outta the shower and my hair is wet i blot some of the wetness on the bottoms in the towel. then use the curl and shine leave in conditioning cream and comb through. then i put the curl construct mousse in my hair from root to tips and comb through. NO BRUSHING. combing will give your curls a better look. last is the curl shaping spray gel. i spray it all over then comb through. u can either air dry or use a diffuser attached to your blowdryer and dry it with that. it'll be shiny and frizz free and tamed. good luck!!!

I found that using Dove products work great to smooth out my hair...also try asking at the pharmacy beauty counter about what is best for your specific hair type. The winter weather has a hayday for drying out my hair and making it frizzy, so Dove leave-in conditioner works nicely..hope this answers your question

Put your hair up in a pony tail, then straigthen each layer.
After you do this your hair should be pretty straight.
Then if you want you can use a curling iron and make little ringlets if you want.
Hope this helped! :]
