Now my hubby was just offered a wonderful job makin 75,000 plus a year! Just wondering what happens with the whole health ins stuff. Will I be covered if he takes this new job?The new company is very well know corp. all over the USA and it is Blue Cross ins also since one of our good freinds offered him the position he told us this. But how does the whole switching insurances go?Just concerned since i have all of these dr appts coming up and wondering will they be covered if he takes this job in the next month or so?

When your husband gives notice at his current job, the human resources department will notify the insurance company. You should get a letter from them, stating when your company-sponsored insurance will end. You will then have the option of continuing to pay for that insurance yourself after that date, through COBRA. You can do this up until the day your new insurance begins, which your husband will have to find out from the new company. Then any claims incurred prior to the change to the new insurance will need to go to the old insurance company.

The HR department at the new company can answer all your questions.

i'm surprisingly specific that the swap happens at cutting-edge, yet while it might kick in on the hot job often is the element. I additionally comprehend that there is a few style of Blue circulate element that they positioned you in except you expressly specify you do no longer choose it (no longer sending the papers back isn't an decision!) in between insurances. they have a $500 deductible, however, for each little thing. possibly your husband can seek advice from the hot job and enable them to comprehend the region and because they have already presented him the job they might desire to truly need him so possibly that they had make an exception via fact of your being pregnant as to while coverage would kick in. Congrats on the two between the super information!
