I have a dance tonight called TWIRP & it's not like Prom, instead it's a much simpler dance but still formal. I'm wearing a red sparkly dress [halter top] that flares out as it gets down to the knees. Basically I'm all set except for my hair. I don't know what to do. I want a really nice hairdo [not too nice though] but where it doesn't take too long to make. I don't have alot of products at hand except for a straightner, curling iron [big curl one and a small curl one], blowdrier, garnier fructis products such as hairspray, leave-in conditioner [straight, curly], frizz-away oil, etc., gel, moose, and a straighting gel. My hair is naturally wavy and goes down half way down my back. Please help on any styles you know of that I can do with the things I have!

Since it's a halter top dress, try and leave either all your hair down or half up and half down. If you leave it down, try and have defined curls that shine. So after washing your hair let it dry naturally, then add a gloss to smooth it. Or you can have part up in a bun/pony. Take half the hair on the top and pull it into a half pony tail. Start pinning the ends with bobby pins to the center and making loops of hair with the ends hanging down. Take two strands from the top of your forehead and let them hang around your face.

Because you have beautifully long hair (I'm jealous), I would put it up to show off your straps and shoulders, why hide such a pretty dress right?? It's simple to place hair into a pony and wrap it up part way into a bun, pin it and curl the ends. Simple yet sofisticated and formal enough for your dance. Enjoy!!

this is exactly what u should do wash and blow dry ur hair then when its dry flat iron it and and some curls on the end like half way up ur head not all the way to the top make them stop at ur neck and you can use rollers to get these curls and then sit under the blow dryer for a while(optional)

Ok. Now. For my Valentine's Banquet at my college, we had to wear formals. And for my hairstyle, my girlfriend first of all straightened my hair. After straightening it, she put it up in a French Twist with lots of hairspray and six bobby pins. That's it. So, that's my tip on what hairstyle you should do, or you can just straighten it.

If you want to try something different, try straightening your hair and putting half of it up. Use lots of hairspray ;)

Another good option would be to have an updo. Updos are cool, especially for dances. Just pile up your hair and use bobby pins and hair ties and use LOTS of hairspray (:

Hope this helps!

get your straighteners. do no longer initiate on the roots initiate a splash way away. Pull down a splash and twist in one path. carry for approximately 5 secs. Un-twist. permit hair fall out of straighteners. circulate a splash under twisted little bit of hair. Repeat the approach around all your hair.
