Honestly I don't cope well with anxiety. I get all kinds of physical symptoms even seizures. I am on medication. I try to get plenty of rest and I have improved my diet. I recommend staying away from caffeine and limiting sugar, finding time for yourself where you can just be away from everyone if you need to and having someone to talk to about what you are feeling. Childhood wasn't easy for me but adulthood has proven to be just as difficult if not more so...

I take Valium for my anxiety & panic attacks, it helps but the only prob is im taking more & more of it to have it work for me, im am now up to 3 tablets a day b4 i leave the house, so im off to the Drs tomorrow for new meds, something that will work & not be addictive, ive tried natural therapies but they arent working, ive tried slow breathing & relaxation but that only works while im actually doing it.

go to group talk therapy. take xanax. take hot baths. yoga and walking. sex. reading. watch a good movie. breathe well.

I take buspar for it but it doesn't always help, being alcoholic doesn't help, good luck.

drugs, alcohol, meaningless sex. Unfortunately the sex is usually by myself.
