Christians, do you even Realize why you're an EMBARASSMENT to the rest of us?

Here are some of my own reasons"


1. Some of you believe that the universe was created 6000 years ago (which is 1000 years after the Sumerians invented glue!!!)

2. You believe that a pair of every species of animal was loaded onto a boat, including dinosaurs and leeches.

3. You believe that sin is the reason for death, destruction, and sickness (is that medieval or is it medieval?)

4. You can't even agree amongst yourselves. Not one day has passed by in which I haven't seen protestants and catholics try to verbally slit each other's throats.

5. You mingle with politics. Politics should NEVER mingle with religion!!! What happens when it does??? THE ELECTION OF GEORGE W. BUSH HAPPENS!!!!

6. You try to justify the deaths of millions caused by Christianity in its history. ("Oh yes!!! The witchhunts occured for totally reasonable purposes!!! It er....reduced surplus population!!!")

Christian. Lets explore that word shortly. Basically it is anyone who believes in Christ. Just because you believe doesnt necessarily give you a relationship. Its not about a religion its about a relationship with Christ. Are you perfect? No I dont know you and I can tell you that. The universe is a little over 7000 years old. Do more research before you go off on something you need your facts straight. Well as for every species to be onboard not that big of a deal. Here you do some research and find out how big the ark was. Did it say the size of the animal? No so they may have brought all baby animals along. Leeches dont need dry land to survive. Sin is very destructive dont you think? Killing a man is pretty destructive. Cheating on your spouse I could go on but I wont. The reasons Protestants and Catholics dont get along is because Catholocism isnt a Christ based religion. They have idloatry, they pray to Mary they try to get their sins rremoved by works on the 10 hail Mary rosary. We dont need a priest do talk to God to forgive us our sin. Iin confession he says say ten hail mary and all will be forgiven. Hmmmm I thought only God could forgive sin. Purgatory the Eucharist dont get me started. I hear they dont preach purgatory any longer but when a religion has to change its doctrine its nothing more than a cult. Yes politics are a big deal. Think of how many children have been saved due to the religious right fighting agains partial birth abortion. That is just sick the way that is performed. Thats an EMBARASSMENT to all. And as stated are we perfect no. People back then were not educated like we are now. They were scared. Killing those people was not right. But back then only a few were able to read. Others followed what they said. But as more and more people became educated and could read the Bible for themselves true believers seen what they were doing as wrong. So there are many in the church who dont have a relationship. Those are the ones that are an embarassment to Christians who have that relationship. Ive went on long enough do some research reexamine your own life and get right with Abba the Father. Peace out....................

the reason you see this going on is because alot of religions have let there members of there church sin and cover it up by saying that all Christians sin. that is where the hate comes from. when the truth of the matter is they are not saved at all. true Christians dont sin and they work in unity. so dont get confused when you see a protestant and catholic or whoever do that kind of stuff. all i know what you have in side of you will come out whether it is good or evil one or the other not both. you either belong to GOD or the devil. it is up to you to chose which one you want to serve. i chose GOD in the CHURCH OF GOD.

If they are, then why do you bother with them? Not all christain see it the way you do. You litsen to what others may say. so you hide behind it.
As for believing when the world was created, can you prove differant? without the knowledge of science to back your claim.But i will say it was more then 6000yrs ago.
As for sin. they are simply saying, that sin is the cause of a lot of problems in the world.
As for dinosaaurs, they probably died long before noah. As for two fo each specis, well the ones that lived in the water, there was no need to put them on a boat. it was the ones who lived on land. You can not take an animal that lives in the water and keep it on dry land least it dies. and visa versa for land creatures.
As for christains disagreeing among themselfs, thats how one learns. by debating ones belief, or discussing it. everyone has their own opion about this or that. As you yourself do. I'm sure at some point in time ,you yourself have debated what you belived to be true and what wasn't. As you are now. correct me if i am wrong.
you disagree with the christain belief. because you have no knowledge of it.
So you feel you have the right to talk down others beleif. You didn't say what your belief was. are you afraid to say. What makes you better then christains?
As for politics, every religion has their hand in it. so its not only christains.
The thing about muslims, or islam as it is known, would kill anyone who did not believe in their faith.
So who are you to say what religion is better then any other. they all have their beliefs,
Hey muslims killed innocent boys and men, and kept the women and young girls as slaves. . so how is it no one says anything about that?
Catholics killed many of protestants because they did not believe in the catholic church.
It was the catholic church of england that would make war on other religions. the catholic church is not the same as christains, because their beliefs are differant, so you can't compare catholics to christains.

Dear Dutch Dolly,

I don't blame you for feeling this way, many Christians who do bad things have given the Lord a bad name and a bad rap. Not all Christians are mean and legalistic and dogmatic. The bad gets talked about because it derives more attention and "dirt" from the media but there are good godly people out there who truly care about the welfare of others and are making a difference in peoples life. What about the Shias an the Sunnis at loggerheads with one another? The Talibans in Afghanistan who prevented women from going to school ? And the Iranian revolutionary guards who slit off women's lips for wearing lipstick ? In Iranian hospitals people sentenced to death being drained of their blood ? It is not Christianity that is at fault but the unbounded power taken over by religious people. One is not really better than the other in spite of your self-righteousness.

Give it up already. Every single religion does the same thing if not worse. Other religions believe things that are more unbelievable.

Look at some punishments for sin in the middle east.

Muslims constantly are fighting in the middle east, and islam has accounted for just as many deaths im sure.

Politics? Nobody mingles with politics more than the jews/zionists.... AIPAC? A lot of govs. in the middle east are totally religion oriented.

Where did you get half of your 'facts' from?

First off -

Christians are people who believe in Christ - A large amount of people in the world today do, whether you like it or not.


Secondly -

You cannot judge a group of people, or even one individual on their religious beliefs alone....You cannot hate someone or criticise someone simply because they don't believe in the same things you do. I would never do that to someone, and the majority of others wouldn't either.


Finally -

A lot of Christians, and non christians too try to make this world a better place for people, might I suggest you do the same and stop causing trouble and spreading hate for no reason?

I am Christian. I never vote Republican. I do not believe in literal interpretation of the scriptures but try to get the point of the whole thing instead. I do not believe in persecuting others. I do not claim to know the age of the universe either. I also do not find arguing with other churches, or other religions, or atheists, or agnostics helpful at all. Could you be becoming what you think you do not like about us? I wish you would ask me what I believe instead of telling me. Why does Man always think small their mind is superior to,

1.) The Lord does his works with the number of seven. God created heaven, earth, animals, mankind in six days and he rested on the seventh which is Sabbath holy day. God s son will rule and reign over the earth for thousand years.

2.) I have never heard anyone say dinosaurs were on Noah's ark during flood,however, I believe they did exist at the same time as the other animals,but they probably did not fit in God's plan. The dinosaurs would have been too large and heavy to occupy space on the ark,therefore, they all drowned in the flood unlike the sea mammals who survived.


3.) The reason why we die is because we all carry the original sin of Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God and were kicked out of the garden. The other reasons for human death is by their own hands because of disobedience of the Word of God and curses for punishment for our poor choices that goes against the Lord's will ,laws or commandments.

4.) Most other Christian demonations squabble over man made church rules that are usualy not found in the bible.


5) The Lord never told his followers to be timid and speak up against the darkness in this world.

6.) The millions of deaths caused by realiogion for and against Christiany and Judaism were all apart of God's eternal plan
for salvation of the man's soul and to proclaim Jesus Christ as the only Messiah and Lord the earth will serve forever.

We may say the same thing about people who are not Christians. We know and realize once we become Christians that the world will not agree with us or what we stand for. I, for one, am glad. God nor His people are held hostage by what the world thinks of us. But there will be a day when at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
