Pain is a natural emotion common to all of us,however, how we deal with pain IS learnt and is unique to all of us as individuals...
proof of this is in the fact that we have the ability to teach ourselves not to feel pain,in doing so we are undoing what we have learnt

Pain is a result of physical stimuli exerced on the body, which has the role of alerting us to danger (hot surface = remove hand, for example), or of warning us of damage to our bodies so that we stop and rest.
If you mean emotional pain, then this is a semantic label placed on negative experiences, such as disappointment, loss or insult, which provoke negative physical reactions, rapid heart beat, blushing, breathlessness. If you just concentrate on the sensation of feeling emotional pain, these symptoms are the same. The word you give to the feeling is based on experience and socialisation.
So to answer your question, pain is not learned, but the attached emotional label is.

Pain as an emotion is a result of loss or the prospect of loss. We, as humans, are naturally inclined to desire happiness through material and emotion. When we are deprived of something like money, a loved one, an ice cream or a newly-bought car, an emotional pain (to varying degrees of severity) is triggered because we are able to calculate the negative effect that the loss will have on our life.

discomfort isn't an emotion! discomfort is a physiological mechanism to guard your body from harm. this isn't any more effective a discovered reaction than feeling hungry, thirsty, warm or chilly. discomfort is computerized besides. positioned your hand on a warm range; do you should get in contact such as your "inner newborn" or think about for most minutes why you're feeling such wonderful discomfort? NO! Your sensory nerves are telling your mind that your hand is being damaged and desires to be moved at modern-day to stay away from extra harm. forget all the different nonsensical hooey those different responders are giving you. 'existence is discomfort and discomfort stems from choose'? in spite of!

Yes. Every painful experience is recorded by you with all the perceptions of that moment. If a similar situation occurs again, you would feel the same pain that once upon a time you recorded. Pain and unconsciousness are recorded by every person, no matter how unconscious you seemed to be.

I am not sure I fully understand your question.
Do you mean can we learn to conquer pain?
Having spent far too many days in child birth, I can only tell you that I coped with the pain by closing my eyes, sucking in on a wet flannel & distancing my brain from the pain i.e. standing over the pain mentally, looking down on it in a disassociated way
I had no choice but do that cos the docs advocated deliverying lying on your back...

Physical pain is a physiological response of the body to a painful stimuli.
Emotional pain is not learned. It is just a fact of life, like it or not.

It's not an emotion, it's a physical sensation. It is instinctive, but linked very often to emotional and psychological factors, i.e. that pain can manifest itself or get worse in periods of great stress or distress.

I`d say that fear of pain is, but pain itself isnt an emotion. Newborn babies would not be afraid of anything if they were not made aware of the dangers by their parents. They would still feel the pain, however, they would see no wrong in it.

Nope it's a basic response to a potentially harmful stimulus. Pain is nature's way of saying "just stop that now".
