Yet, at the same time, I feel like I'm missing out on something. Another thing I notice is that virgins (generally speaking, I don't know if that's true. I'm just talking through my own experiences) are frowned upon because the are of course, inexperienced and a lot of guys would prefer women who are "skilled" in that category. (whatever that means). Am I really that old fashioned for waiting? Does that mean I won't ever get into a relationships since a lot of guys don't want to respect my decision to remain abstinent until marriage? Normally, I'm pretty strong in this particular subject, but now I'm a little unsure.

Sounds like you doubt yourself; because you are either under a little pressure from someone and afraid they will leave or feelings for each other are not the same. You are more than likely going through one of the toughness times right now you thought you would ever face. Making a decision in which there is no going back is hard. If you have to think about it hard and long, then you and your mind already know the right answer. DON’T LOSS SIGHT of what you decision was, stay on course. You and the man you marry will be glad you did. Experience will come from both of you sharing your love together

The guy that respects you for who you are and isn't turned off because you don't have "experience" is the one who is worth your time. If some guys don't want a relationship with you just because it will be non-sex, than they are just immature assholes who you wouldn't have a great relationship with anyway. You seem responsible- and smart. If you feel most comfortable waiting until marriage, that is what you will do. You have your whole life to have sex. And with the right person. It is your body. It is your life. And it's your choice. You are not "old-fashioned" for waiting. It's life. Every day you make millions of decisions. I am deciding right now to type on the computer. Even to press each key. It's all about little decisions, and big ones. Do what is right for you. And remember that the guy who is worth having sex with is the one who will respect and love you for who you are.

Know that you are so right in your decision. If some ignorant male does not want to wait until the wedding night to have sex then he is not worth you. There is a man out there, one who will love you and respect you. One who will realize that you are giving to him the greatest gift a woman can give. You only get to give it once so just wait. I predict for you a wonderful, lasting marriage and some of the most incredible honeymoon sex. You will have so much to give your husband will not believe how blessed he is. Even better find a man with little or no sexual experience then the two of you can learn together.

Look , first of all, you probably wont find anyone compatible to be with because in america in this age, most men and women will do it before marriage . Even if u find a guy that respects your decision to wait will u be compatible with him afterwords? Imagine your life being married to him and your kids being 15 years old and asking if its ok to have premarital sex. You will say no and dad will say yes. That will be the making of a divorce right there. Think long and hard before u make any decision as far as relationships. I feel for u as i know how hard it is these days to find people with morals, expecially in this 65% divorce rate society

You are a rare find. Be proud that you have not given away your lady parts like most women do nowdays.

Find your true love and wait until marriage. And hopefully, he too is a virgin or at least has low milage. This would be ideal for a lasting marriage.

However, if you don't care about being married or see marriage in your future, then you should act like most women and screw anybody that you bump into that is good looking or has lots of money.

Oh, and ladies, this is just my opinion so don't go getting your panties in a bunch if the truth hurts.

Thats fine and ok. You should not do something which you don't want to.

Its not true that man would not marry a virgin girl or would not date her. On the contrary, men, as oppose to boys, would jump into the queue to date a beautiful and virgin girl, particularly if they contamplate marriage.

So, continue to be strong and stick to your guns and believe me you do not miss much, other than dissappointments, prospect of deseases.

Build your future with confidence and the right man will crowl to your feet and seek your love.

All the best!

If you really want to wait, then wait. If a guy doesnt want to be with you because your a virgin, then he's not for you. Any guy would respect you for this decision, but if they dont, that just says they just want you for some action and not real love. And basically by saying you want to wait, is telling your partner that all you want is love. I respect you for this and any guys should too. Good Luck, im sure you'll find someone.

You are not missing anything. My husband and i both waited till our wedding night. It was totally worth it! I know it's tough, but believe me, you don't want to have sex with just anyone. You want it to be with your husband! I couldn't imagine being with anyone before I got married. It is something that you will always be proud of yourself for, and never regret. And people aren't born great lovers. You learn what that person likes from being with them over and over. You just don't instantly know how to push someones buttons as soon as you hop into bed with them. Sex is something a man and his wife LEARN how to have together. That is how is was suppose to be, and it still is suppose to be that way. Wait till you get married. You will always be glad you did. And just think about how much that will mean to your husband? He will love you even more for waiting to give your virginity to the man you would marry. And their wouldn't be any chance of STD's, un-wanted pregnancies, or jealousy towards anyone else. I have been married for 3 and 1/2 years, and I'm 24. Again, it was totally worth these wait. My husband and I have a bond that no one else has. We are so much closer than people who weren't virgins when they got married. Wait till you get married, you'll never regret it!
