Here is a good link which lists many symptoms of possible depression. Check the list out and see if any of these symptoms apply to you. It would also be a good idea to discuss your concerns with your doctor.

Good Luck!!!!! :)

I did a depression screening with my doctor. I pretty much checked every question. I was prescribed Zoloft almost two years ago. A year into the treatment, my doctor weaned down my dose and the symptoms returned (no energy, crying over silly things, giving up activities that I love). Now, I just take a little pill along with my daily vitamins and am doing great.

hopelessness, the despair, the anxiety, the feeling that you're about to cry all the time. negative thoughts that persist, the mind also will associate everything with a negative thought. I hope you can get help, I've been on treatment for 25 years.

well basically depression to me is if you cry a lot-, think that you have no meaning to life and living-- sad alot-- if you think about death... if you dont feel like being around ppl a lot-- but those are sometimes normal feelings too--- you may want to discuss your symptoms with your doctor--
