The taste buds are a funny thing. You can have something signaled in your mind and your mouth may water up to it - but then by the time you prepare it - it's gone. What do you want is the question????? Me? I'm having shimp scampi over buttered angel hair pasta, tossed salad (with beets, purple onions, cherry tomatoes, olives and mixed greens with homemade buttermilk ranch dressing) and tea cake for dessert.

It's 9am. Think about breakfast first.
As for me, I'm trying to loose some weight... so, nothing.
All these aforementioned "lunches" should be special dinners that occur *once in a while*. They are unhealthy, fattening and bad for you all around. I can't believe someone would have a pasta dinner for a noon meal. It should be a light, simple sandwich, a salad, or something light.
I'm quessing people here are fat.

Well now, that depends on where you are presently....are you at work, at home or on vacation? Here are a couple suggestions, assuming that you are at home.
1. Mix Salmon, mayo, finely chopped celeri & onions, put inside toast. Optional with a salad, pickles, vegetables of your choice.
2. Grilled cheese sandwich and a soup.

White rice, refried beans, chipotle salsa, guacolmole, baby spinach leaves, all wrapped in a spinach tortilla. SO good!
