a photoshop filter that make photos look pro?

I just have a normal digital camera but i want to make my photos look like it was taken by a camera with a filter lense. I would like it to look warm and just like the photo we see every day on newspaper.
how can I adjust this with photoshop or picasa?

If you're looking to make a photo look warmer, try adjusting the color by turning up the red a little bit and/or the green down a little bit.
Also, using a filter to soften the picture will also give a warmer effect.

just go to auto fix
