I am really stressing right now because I have so much extra weight in my life right now. My parents and my sister are always yelling at me about cleaning this or forgetting that, I got a 74 on my last social studies test even though I studied and I usually make 95's or above, I have a dance recital coming up at the end of the school year and 40% of the girls in my class can't remeber the dance 45% have no rhythm and I really don't want to get on stage and look like an idiot because the other girls suck, and last all my teachers keep shoving all this high school stuff down my throat about classes and stuff (I'll be going next year) Help me relax please or at least help me keep my sanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other dancers arent your problem. Dance your best and forget the rest :)
You will be ok. Just try not to pile stuff on. Everything seems like a mountain. Break things down and try to organise your time. As far as your sister and parents yelling, clean up after yourself if you arent, I doubt they yell at you out of the blue for no reason. Get organised. Sleep regular hours, eat right and dont forget to take care of you.

If you have too much stress in your life... eliminate some of it.
Look at the things that cause you stress and decide if they are really worth it and if you really want them in your life.
Sometimes mothers yell and sisters complain because they know things you don't. Sometimes they just don't express it very well. If they think they should clean your room, maybe you should.
Having an disorganized space can cause stress and if things were organized you'd have a nice space to relax in and studying would be easier and more effective. If you're not sure how to organize ask someone who does, more importantly ,someone who is organized, as a rule, people take it as a compliment and are happy to help. And if the girls in your dance class can't dance either help them or don't worry about it, do your best and they'll just make you look better. As far as high school goes if your sister is older tell her how you feel, chances are she felt the same way, most kids do. Good Luck and keep pluging. All your hard work will pay off in the long run.

Huh, that's a mess. I can tell you something that was happening to me when I was younger. Parrents and my brothers did the same as your parents do to you, and your sister. Being nice to everyone and to do the stuff they want you to do is a very nice thing. But do they appretiate it? Maybe they tell that just because their "lazy" a**es don't want to do that by themselves, of course it's easier to yell on someone so that they do the job for them... The same was happening to me, maybe this sounds selfish, but for me it helped when I told my parents and brothers what they had to hear. I told them straight what's their problem and that it's to much for me what they ask me to do, and I told them that I won't do it and if it's ok or not... When I stopped being the person that does everything for everyone, they stopped bugging me. Also I got less stressed... Anyway that's just my opinion and what I did...

But for other things, do you have a room that is quiet or at least you can get peace for 15-20 min? When I feel like I'm losing myself and when I am nervous about things I go to my room, play a peaceful music that calms me down... Lie on bed, close your eyes and think of a place you would love to be. I always picture myself lying on a sand in hot desert while I imagine cold wind cooling my body... Imagine everything, the smell there, what you see, how the sun touches your skin, how wind blows through your hair, do you hear the birds?

For 15-20 minutes just go away from this world, forget about everything just imagine yourself in a new very nice place... This is what I do and it always works...

When you do this... The thoughts of stressed life will come back, everything from school to parents, but don't fight these thoughts and images in your head... Let them come but then forget about them and keep on with your imagination...

This way you will train yourself to relax, maybe you will find this is hard to do in the begining but after you train a bit it will become easier and more efficient... This and similar techniques helped me deal with high stress in my life, now I rarely get stressed over things that used to cause me so much troubles... Because I trained my brain that when stressful thoughts, images or things happen to me, my subconscious doesn't fight with them (this causes the stress), but it rather forgets about it and replaces it with good and calming things. Like the wind that calms me in my imaginary picture I visualise...

That's just one of techniques you can use to control your stress, check here for more great stuff:

You need to see your doctor and talk about the stress you're under. You need to be in therapy to get this out of your system. It can make you sick.

Good luck!

Take a salt bath and don't think about anything. It makes it all seem trivial.

Try meditation and listening to music, and think positive.
