Try running Virtual PC - it's a free download from Microsoft. It basically will run different operating systems in a more "native" way. DOS support in XP and Vista is marginal at best. You'll probably need original MS-DOS installation disks. If you have a Windows 98 install disk, there is a way to install MS-DOS from there as well.

Try to down load xp pro sp2 drivers for your MS-DOS games. If the have them your in luck, if not them they may not have them yet or probably never will. Go to your game web site and look up drivers and updates.
