I have three cats! One is a big 13 year old orange tabby! The other one is a big 12 year old grey tabby! 5 months ago, I adopted a petite calico girl which she is now 1 year old! The orange one adopted her right away. They get along just fine! The grey one doesn't like her at all. I've had to keep them seperated all this time! Everytime I bring the little one close to him so he can smell her, he bites her and wants to fight her! Will I have to keep them separated all the time because I'm really afraid that he will hurt her very bad!! What do you think I should do? Keep them separated??

Tricky one. You don't want your pets injured but you don't really want to have to keep the seperate forever. I'd be inclined to let them get on with it. They will probably scrap a bit but they'll soon get used to each other, they have to work it out themselves. If you are very concerned keep their contact supervised to start with so you can seperate them if things get too bad.

try doing this:
rubbing a towel on the little one and then rubbing it on the older one and getting the older one to smell it.
She'll get used to the smell of her and hopefully come around
that worked for mine.

my mom had this problem with her cats too, she stayed in the room with them and kept an eye on them until they got used to each other...at first when she left them alone they would fight...anyway, it just took some time but they got used to each other and dont fight like that anymore...can you keep an eye on them until theyre more familiar with each other ?
