this past week i have been waking up like 4 or 5 in the morning because my hand has been falling asleep. But the problem is that it hurts real bad! I wake up in pain and have to walk around with it down sometimes. what do i do?

try moving your hand alot and slowly it will wake up.

Are you sleeping on it? Did you recently buy a new (heavier?) pillow? Are you keepiong it elevated? If so you might want to change that. All of that makes your hand prone to falling asleep.

When my hand falls asleep I generally wave it around cause I'm too lazy to get up.

Try shaking it, but I suggest for permanent relief go to a chiropractor. It sounds like you might have a pinched nerve which needs to be fixed. A chiropractor can give you an adjustment to realign your spine and take the pressure off the nerve.

u just have to move it up in down a few times to get the blood flowing in ur arms again. Thats all, u can do that in bed u dont have to walk around.

try no sleeping on your hands and if they are asleep shake them and they will wake up lol
