I met a man that I am really wild about but have only known for four months. We live in differrent states but I plan to relocate to his state within a year and he knows this. Both of us are very busy with work and family commitments. We have only gotten together twice in four months but really enjoyed both visits and feel closer every time we get together. He says he is trying to organize his work so that he will need to travel to my city for business when possible. We discuss our next visits and he calls me every day sometimes more than once or twice a day and tells me all about his life. My concern is the long distance and that right now we have no set plan to see each other again. He said he needs to figure out his agenda for the next month and then we will set something up. Is this normal for a LDR or should he be more anxious to see me? Am I paranoid since he calls every day and tells me how great I am and that he looks forward to seeing me again?

Not good if he is not making concrete plans to see you again, only keeping in touch or perhaps just keeping tabs on you to keep him interested in you. Some guys are serial daters and have to have several girls on a string at once to make them feel like a "real" man and could even possibly be in a relationship/engaged/living with/already married to another woman.

Only way to know for sure it try to set concrete dates to meet on at least a monthly basis if possible and gauge his reaction to see if it is excited or distant..that will be a big clue.

Since this is a four month relationship and you only see him when he is in town on business , it does not sound like a relationship more of a friendship at the moment since you and him are workers and attend to other things that are a must. Usually it is a compliment to a woman when a guy writes her and calls her more then once a day, it seems if he did not mean those things then he probably would have not said them. Don't try to move to fast into a relationship if you can help it because something could happen that it won't work and then you are back at square one again. Just go for the ride and see what happens only time will tell and from then on you will be sure.

in d first place, u knew dat u were going in 4 an LDR, so u should have anticipated most of dese occurences, but still, dere is nothing u can do if all dat'z making u paranoid is true, so stop torturing urself and just see how u could make him realize dat u appreciate all he's done and then, make d suggestions u would like him 2 change in ur relationship.

I think that this relationship has potential. First of all, the guy you like is showing signs of responsibility and cotimment to you by organzing his schedule to see you and also calling you every day. If you both work at it, I tihnk you could make this happen.

Yes it does have potential.

Unless he is married or has a significant other that he is hiding from you.

The best way to tell for sure is to make a surprise visit to his state.

If he gets upset by this he is most likely hiding something.

If he is pleasantly surprised and welcomes you, then you will know that he feels the same way you do.

Either way, wouldn't you rather know now before you move to his state?

it's quite common for a LDR. you both have busy lives, so you have to be willing to work around each others' schedules. the fact that he calls you so much is a good sign.
