Im in the 7th grade and this guy that i really like sits right behind me and my friend. My friend calls it flirting.He suposivly flirts by chucking little bits of erasers at me. and like i try to flirt with him. By like talkin to him about like stupid people in our grade and stuff like that. He talks to me and everything. But yeah is that really flirting?

Next time he does something to try to get your attention, like tossing pieces of eraser at you, turn back and smile. Roll your eyes or something too, because guys flirt by teasing, and if he sees you accepting it, he'll continue.

This guy has shown all the signs- you should defintely ask him out. Or give him huge hint. Why would he be sitting behind you and joking around if he didn't?

Work with him on a project or hope for a group with him. The more he sees your responsive flirting, he'll be more likely to ask you out. Some guys are just like girls- they want to be sure before they ask you. So make him positive.

Boys in the 7th grade don't know how to "flirt" yet. So they do stupid things like throw eraser bits. He's trying to flirt. He's still at the primitive stage.

Yes, he is showing attention to you, and trying to get you to talk to him...so he most likely likes you, so yes i'd say it is a level of flirting.

yes. i am in 7th grade too, and even though it seems immature and lame, he is flirting with you. the same thing happens to me. . .
