I have the same problem. My husband works out of town alot too. A few thing s help me. Taking calcium regularly does help, but takes about a week or so to get into your system. (liquid filled capsules work faster) Also, chamomile tea helps, valerian root (natural herb), melatonin, or reading puts me right to sleep. One other thing that helps if all else fails (this sounds kind of crazy) when you're lying in bed, flat on your back, completely tense up your WHOLE body then completely relax it, continue to do this as many times as you can. You will fall asleep and not even remember you did this. Good luck!

It takes me a long time to fall asleep too sometimes. My suggestion is: Listen to soft quiet music while you are lying in bed. This can make you sleepy and tired. or, you can turn off all the lights, and read a book using a booklight. I find after 45 minuets or so, I get sleepy and fall asleep easier. Another suggestion: If you are having trouble falling asleep because your thinking about lots of different things, try righting them down before you go to bed. It could clear your mind.

If you like tea then you can drink a sleeping tea which relaxes you && then listen to some soothing music while your in bed just laying there. && try to think of nothing. && if you have to think of something then think of good things. Try to to dwindle on things like your boyfriend living so far away..

Have a warm bath before retiring.

Wind down gradually towards bed time.

Meditate before sleeping.

accept jesus chirist into ur life.
Well I became saved about 4 and a half years ago. I was bored one day and i felt something was empty in my life. i was in my room and i was trying to find something to do. since i love to dance so much, i found a christian gospel cd called Gods Property by Kirk Franklin. i never heard of before so i put it on. for some reason i skiped track one and went to track 2. i was listiening to the song and it was awesome. it talked about how God will always be there for you when even your love ones are not there for you. all we have to do is put our lives into his hands. i was so touch to that song like nothing before. so i bent on my knees and asked God to come to my life. I want to put my life in your hands and i want you to come to my life. so my family and i was searching for a religion. i tried mormon relgion, it wasn't right for me. so one day, i found a yellow filer on my door. that filer invited us to come watch a movie at Beacon Bible Chruch. So my family and I went to the church and watch the movie. it was fantastic, so my family and i went to that church ever since. me getting saved was from kirk franklin abulm, brother jeff, brother tony and everyone at Beacon Bible Chruch. When I learned more about Jesus Christ, I believed in my heart that he died for my sins and rose again. i was so amazed that someone loved me that much. well this is how i became saved. this is the most important and unforgiveable event in my life. this is why i am the way i am today. i will never regret becoming saved. i will recomend this for anyone.
