I did my tax return on 01/16/2007 with TaxAct,and I would like to know where is it? This means money lost, do you think that I would recommend some one to you if I can't find my return?

Please post your date of birth, full address, and social security number. If you requested direct payment of your refund to a specific bank account, please provide the bank name, account number, and routing number as well.

We'll look into it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Did you have any credits that were extended by Congress in December? If so, those returns cannot be processed until February 3rd, which means refunds will not be issued until February 16th at the earliest.

I used taxact to do my eturn this year too. Did you elect for email notification? If so, what did the emails say?

Did you keep a copy of your return? If so, go to the link below to find out your status. You will see that the IRS is having system problems at the moment. My gut reaction is that refunds are going to be delayed this year.

Go to irs.gov and there is a link entitled "where is my return". Click on it and that will take you to a screen that asks your SS#, the return amount and something else, although I don't remember that something else. Once you enter that it will show whether your return has been processed by the IRS and when the expected date is that you will get your return.
