That depends on who you stole it from and what happened during that theft. If you stole a 'narcotic drug' that was prescribed for a medical condition, and you 'caused harm' (anything from simply hitting that victim to doing 'grievous bodily harm') then you could be tried for at least two charges ... theft, and assault, plus you could be charged with being in possession of an 'illegal drug' since you do not hold the prescription for that drug. Each of these charges can be serious, and you could also be charged with 'in extraordinary circumstances' which can RAISE the amount of 'time' you would be sentenced to and also the 'fine' you could be charged. DO NOT STEAL!

If its street drugs, who would be dumb enough to turn in a police report that you took their illegal drugs?
On the other hand, if its a medical perscription drug for a medical problem and you took the drug you could be charged with theft, assault & possession of a controlled substance.
