I think that whoever invites the other person out on a date should pay, so if you're inviting him you should pay, but if he invites you, he should pay! I say you should tell him if you have no money, and if he's really worth dating he will either offer to pay or you can do something together that doesn't cost anything- like just hang out with friends or at someone's house, or go on a walk or go to the park... and as far as the tip goes, if you split the bill with someone, you can split the tip too, or whoever has money for it can offer to get the tip! I have never really dated but have experienced all this with my best friend, sisters, etc. hope I helped! :)

In the beginning, when you two are getting to know each other, who ever asks the other out should pay. As you are in a relationship, you should both go dutch unless he insists on paying. Or, he can take you out, then you take him out the next time.

I would like to add that you don't have to take him out on a date all the time. Why don't you stay home once in a while. And, tell him that you just can't afford to take him out all the time. If he's right for you, he will understand.

I would think to either split the bill, or just switch off who pays. Just tell him that you don't have much money and that he needs to pay for that date. Since you've paid for all of those other dates, he should understand.

Just be honest and tell him how you feel. There is nothing wrong with telling him how you feel. Good luck
