Yes as long it is not an officer with enlisted relation. This is punishable by the UCMJ and the regulations of the branch of a particular service. Military people should have NO relationships since it hampers them in war. How? instead of concentration on destruction of the enemy they are thinking of their children and the significant other. WAR IS WAR AND WILL NEVER BE A PIC NIC. DEATH IS PART OF WAR SO GET USED TO IT!!!

Yes, and surprisingly, the military TRIES to get the couple GEOGRAPHICALLY stationed together. Definitely don't plan on being in the same unit/ship. I had a couple who got married WHILE in the Navy. They didn't report their marriage to keep drawing single BAQ (2 single BAQ's was more than ONE MARRIED BAQ). They put in for orders and HE was offered the USS GUAM and SHE was offered GUAM ISLAND. They pissed and moaned until I asked them if the Navy knew they were married. I gave them a direct order to go right then to personnel with their marriage certificate or I would write them up for defrauding the gov't. When all the smoke cleared, HE was given orders to a submarine repair ship out of Pearl Harbor, HI and SHE was given orders to the supply center at Pearl.
Another opposite incident, a couple were in a rating with different SUB-specialties. There are only a few commands in the world where those two specialties are at the same command. They would see each other only on leave. They wound up getting a FRIENDLY divorce. It was either that or get out of the Navy.
I had a neighbor who was stationed at Ft. Story in Va Beach, VA...his wife was at Ft. Eustis, VA about 40 miles away. They were GEOGRAPHICALLY stationed together..

The Joint domicile program or the maried army couples pgm.
To enroll in the MACP, married couples need to submit a Department of the Army Form 4187, Request for Personnel Action, to their local military personnel office. The personnel office will then process the information and enroll the Soldiers. If the Soldiers are assigned to separate duty stations, each Soldier must submit a DA Form 4187 to his or her personnel office.
You can increase the chances of being stationed together if you don't have similar MOS qualifications, mos essentially needed in conus rather than overseas. For example, take a couple who are both signed up to perform the same job, but one base has only one slot open for that mos. One of them will be stationed to a nearby base, if there is a slot available. Also, one may be stationed in the CONUS (US), but the other one may be stationed in Korea because their mos is really not used in country. It is most essentailly needed in korea or Italy. The MACP does not guarantee that both will be stationed together. It's basicly a program that identifies the couple to the army as a army couple. The army will try to take some factors in consideration when assigning your duty assignments, but you can help it by paying close attention to the MOS you both select and where are the MOS most essentially required. Some couples select mediocre jobs to increase the odds of staying together rather than having really cool and unique jobs and being seperated. Some of these jobs are 92F(fuel support),88M (cargo Specialist or truck driver).

The AF does a pretty good job of joint assignments...when possible and depending on career field. Probably won't let you if you have children.

Yes, but don't expect to be stationed together. If you do, it is a rare exception, not the rule, and it is only temporary.
