I have a child that attends a private high school and would like to know if any of the money that I am paying for tuition can be deducted on my tax return. I know that my child is too old for the dependent care deduction.

No, tuition for kindergarten through high school is not deductible and not eligible for education credits.

As a rule, no. The exception is a special school where a child is educated on account of disability. a portion of the fees may be deducted as a medical expense, subject to the usual 7.5% of AGI rule.

No I had a child that graduated from a private school last year. I asked that question every time we had our taxes done. It should be though. Our school system is awful that is why we chose private school.
