I live in Wisconsin, and I worked both in Wisconsin and in Minnesota this past year - I have W2s from both states. Where do I file state taxes?

You must file in both states. You will need to consider whether to file as a non-resident and deductions for taxes paid to another state.

This get's complicated so you may need to go see a CPA.

sarah c is right. Give her the 10 points before you get any nutcases giving you rubbish advice. The only thing I would add is that all states have different rules ab out how much you must earn before you have to file. In any case, you should always compute your tax position if you have had any tax withheld, in case you are due a refund. There may also be other credits you are entitled to claim on your tax form, which are only vaguely related to income tax.
Edit:pawt72 is right too of course!

You have to file in both states. I once had to file for Wisconsin, Ohio, Missouri, and Virginia all in one year.
