Yes, why is that? By the way Eric B, why don't you do like Mohamed says in the hadith and go drink some camel piss, marry a six year old, have sex with her, have sympathy for a crying palm tree, and kill everyone who doesn't agree with your woman hating religion? No wonder you have to force people to convert to Allah. By the way, the hadith says Mohamed's penis got horny for a woman across the street from it and slithered over to her impregnated her then slithered home like some giant snake. Wow I'm impressed. And you say Christianity is for infidels? You'd have to be an infidel in order to swallow that (no pun intended).

Look

We teach our children that humans are humans and they are prone to sin

We are not taught to claim that the prophet is the one human who has the highest place in heaven, even if thats what we feel in our hearts.

And also, prayer was done the same way back in the day and it hasnt changed. Much like the Quran. for the past 1400 years.

To claim that a human has the highest place in heaven is dangerous because it can cause ignorant people to start worshipping him.

Which is not what Islam wants.

We bare witness to Prophet Muhammads prophetship as we bare witness to all the prophets that came before him. But he was the seal of the prophets, with him, God completed His message to mankind. Therefore we mention his name.

Note: Youre not me, how do you know God doesnt accept every single one of my prayers?

I do not know about Muslims but, Arabs do like to bargain and insist until one gives in to them, and I suppose they are now trying it on with God !
Having said this, Do Muslims really ask that ?
Personally I think that the Prophet Mohamed was one of the major prophets and, wherever he may be in Heaven, then he deserves that place, otherwise he would not be there!

We don't really pray so...the Prophet does have the highest place in heaven... which is with the other prophets..in Islam we believe that all prophets are equal therefore they have the same place..But Mohammed is our last prophet, and God chose him to be a role model for all men ..
"I bare witness that Mohammed IS a prophet" it is more as "I declare that Mohammed is God's prophet" we say that as part of prayer, and the Shahada ..the declaration is what differs us from non-Muslims (mainly)...

ah..please educate yourself..

Assaluma Laykum go to www.islamicity.com/mosque/Muhammad_bible.htm and then ask your self this question. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)was foretold to come to unite all humanity under Allah on the path of preserved truth, you better listen and stop playing with Allah.

Mohammed (pbuh) has not CHOSEN to rise up to take a seat at the highest place in heaven. He has chosen to remain and speak for all those who follow Allah's teachings passed through him into the Qur'an.

How do you know it has not been fulfilled? And to bear witness you must acknowledge that. It's not just Muslims you can bring this argument against. You can also bring it against Christians. How about you ask Christians why they believe Jesus is the Son of God?

All Prophets are equal, but what made Muhammad special is that he explained the Quran to the Muslims. He told what each verse meant. For example, the Quran mentions that you cut off the hands of those who steal (not that muslims do that often). He explained that there was a limit to how much you steal. One apple from a crate full of them doesn't mean you lose you hands. There also must be reason for what you did. You may have had to feed your kids or something. And by the way, all Prophets are at the highest level of Heaven (or so I've heard).
