I always like hanging out with people who are older than me. I feel like they are educated and they can understand everything I'm going through. But I don't hang out with people my age because they all act immature and when I'm talking to them, I feel like their wasting my time because they are young.

You are mentally sensible and intellectually smart, hence mature. The mere fact that the older people also accept you as their peer is a clear proof to me that you are above average of your own peer in age.

Cognratulations! There aren't many people of your calibre, insight and sensibility!

All the best, hunh!

I felt exactly the same way. When I was younger, I enjoyed hanging out with older people, even if I didn't understand everything they were talking about. Other days I wanted to hang around my friends.

This 16 year old guy I know hangs around with people who are 20+. It's not weird at all.

No, its just a sign that your more mature than your own age group and you wish to hang with an older crowd. There is nothing wrong with this, and its actually quite common.

u need to have a couple of friends that are your age. they are going through the same stuff as you are, and if you are more mature than they are, maybe some of your maturity will rub off on them. having friends your age now will help you when they are mature because then u will have a lasting friendship. it is ok to have friends that are older than you, i do.

Your mature bud. You know a good conversation when you see it. Often times, you won't find people in your same age group to have the same level of interest, so you compensate it by being with people who are older

cheers

it depends on how old you are and how old the people you hang out with are.. if ur in highschool and then afterschool you go hang out and the senior society... thats a problem and its immature... if you are a freshman hanging out with seniors you wont get made fun of or anything and its mature... if ur in middle school hanging out with highschoolers.. thatas bad.. but! edit your questions and give a little more detail on the question on how old you are and how old are your little friendds? maybe someone else can really help!

i've always hung out with people who were older than me mostly, but you also have to give people your age a chance too because some of them aren't as "immature" as you might think.
