Take a look at the link below it gives some tips to help boost the immune system.
Make sure you are getting a good diet, consider taking a multivitamin and make sure you drink plenty of water. Other than that take precautions with things like cleanliness, hand washing etc

not realy much you can do about that, just keep away from a lot of people as much as you can, i worked in a prison and i was always sick since i quit i havent been sick yet, some people will tell you a bunch of junk that will not help but the truth is it wont work been there and done that, if your young 1 to 25 is when your body is building an immune system when you get older 25 to 60 is when you wont get sick as often

added; i have seen inmates eat off the floor and eat there own crap and never took a shower and had weird diets and some of these nasty inmates never got sick

Eat right (oatmeal, egg whites, chicken, fish, lots and lots of vegetables, and if possible fresh vegetable juice from a health food or Lebanese restaurant (e.g. carrot, celery spinach juice)). Go to a vitamin store and get a really good multi-vitamin with high "bioavailability" (i.e. not those hard pills, get the kind that is in liquid form or in those caplets that dissolve). Take a shot of wheat grass every day. If you are overweight, lose some weight.

PLEASE try these 3 remedies...EVERY time I feel run-down or get that tickly feeling in my throat I take these 3 things and it NEVER turns into a full-blown cold.

1) Olive Leaf Extract by "Herb Pharm"....it's in liquid form, and has no side effects...it immediately goes to work to kill any viruses in you...and it's all natural.

2) "JarrowDophilus", by "Jarrow Formulas"...it will keep the healthy "flora" in your body in perfect balance which keeps your immune system strong.

3) "Emergen-C" Vitamin C packets by "Alacer"

All three can be purchased at "Whole Foods Market", possibly "Trader Joe's", or call your local health food store to inquire about these 3 products.

EVERY friend and family member who has taken this advice, hardly ever gets sick.

For your throat: "Peaceful Mountain--Throat Rescue"
You will NEVER find a more powerful throat spray which is all-natural....soothing, fast acting, and kills bad bacteria on contact.

You'll see!! :) Get well soon!

It seems to me that only your physician would be able to support your health and provide you with answers to direct you into better health conditions. In fact, I'd probably change doctors if mine told me "it's not normal" and offers nothing in the way of advise to help me return to normal. Sometimes people get into a cycle of illnesses that can bounce back and forth. But healthy eating, exercise and plenty of water and vitamin supplements should be one factor you are looking into. If you are into natural products - Check the internet for the issues you continue to have. I am sure there are some natural herbs, etc that might be better for you. I'd probably start with a good colon cleansing. Get all that junk out of your system and start slowly introducing healthy food into your system. Watch the sweets, white flour products, etc. Eat fresh fruits and veggies. I have never had strep but I keep my throat coated with honey and warm water. (Also, check with your dentist...sometimes our teeth and gums habor so much bacteria we don't realize). Lately, I have incorporated HERBA MATTE tea into my diet and it provides energy, allows me to sleep well, cleanses the system and I feel great! Good luck.

Sound like you make have something more serious - you should go to your personal physician if you have one or a specialist and get tested for anything for ammune system difficiencies; my roomate had a problem like that and she got medicine and was helped!

Otherwise, make sure you are taking a multivitamin, eating healthy, sleeping and limiting stress. Take a BIG vitamin C everyday. Also, try 'Airborne'; you can get it at CVS or walgreens or any place like that. It's a great way to pretect yourself from germs.

you are something else ha ha and no it doesn't lower your resistance in fact its a good cardio workout. centrum, and multivitamins some times dose not have enough nutrition for each of us we are all different for some mainly Commercial actors, is probably a good thing.I recommend taking vitamins individually so you get the right amount of nutrients your body needs. you need C A B6 B12 E, each one of these supports each other c,enhances your cells while the rest builds the cells stronger and then ad cq-10 and fish oil for a healthy hart. ps this will also keep you looking younger you will see the difference in about 20day's i promise.

There are lots that you can do to build up an immune system.

First, change your diet to a more cleansing and alkaline one. You will need to get rid of the toxins in your body as soon as you are well enough to do so i.e. colon cleanse.

Second, take plenty of rest. When your body is weak, it is indicating that you need to take a break and not exert too much.

Taking vitamins help your over all immune system, but you also need to have good hygiene habits, especially around public bathrooms. I try not to touch any surface with my fingertips, I may use my knuckle or elbows to push open stall doors, and my foot to flush. After I wash my hands I use a paper towel when I touch any door knob.

Make sure you are eating correctly and supplement with a multivitamin and B vitamin complex. Echinachea and Airborne also can help. Don't forget the extreme benefits of sufficient sleep, exercise, and hydration.
