Who needs a flu shot now? These are a safe alternative to the controversial flu shot which has even put some people to death.
Every kid and person over 50 should be carrying a pack of these around.

They're a good idea, but not an alternative to a flu shot.

You still cough, and even breathing can expel the germs - rubbing an errant hand across your nose might even pick up something. The tissues are good, but they are not the answer. The possibility of dying as a result of a flu shot is incredibly low.

Viruses morph and change all the time, and the tissues are designed only to prevent 'certain common' factors - so a lot still gets through, and they'll become obsolete pretty frequently.

I think its to late once you got sick. Doesn't matter what they are made of.
