It may be that Valentine's Day makes him feel nervous when he thinks about it symbolization: showing love for someone you care about. Many men have a hard time of showing that they love someone or giving into the money side of it. Lots of guys dont understand the big fuss of spending money on flowers that will just die and chocolates that will make her complain of her weight gain :O) Some guys are just shy in that area of showing the world they have feelings that aren't very "manly". If you have been with this boyfriend long enough to know he truly loves you but just feels nervous or doesnt have enough money to show you in diamonds, let him know that just exchanging cards is fine or maybe a nice dinner together at your favorite resturant is enough. My man is so bent on pleasing me that 9 times out of 10 he doesnt get me anything because he is afraid of failing and messing up the day. I just send him little email cards that say i know he loves me and we can celebrate how he wants too. Maybe just talking with him about it will help. There are lots of ways for you both to show love on every day not just valentines day. Have a great day with him no matter what.

He either has plans and doesn't want to spoil the surprise, or he doesn't have any plans at all and hoping the day will come and go without any participation on his part. Hopefully the former and not the latter!

Its a wierd phenomenon. Something about that word mixes with our testosterone causing extreme itchiness. The only way to stop it is to talk about something, anything , as quickly as possible.

Typical male that figures he has you hooked. I bet he wouldn't act this way with a new girlfriend. He is getting what he wants from you and is secure that you are not going anywhere.

he probably hasn't gotten you a gift yet, and he doesnt want you to know. he tries to get off the subject so you wont find out.

He either doesn't want to give you a present, or he already has something and wants to surprise you. I hope it's the latter.
