People say there are but I only know of one kind. I think it is just people feel they have to classify us. Many people Christians try to classify as Atheists are really not Atheists at all. They would like everyone not Christians to be Atheists.

I'm not an atheist, but I've talked to a lot of them.
Some people who call themselves atheists are just anti-religion, just as some people who call themselves Christians are anti-everybody else. Ha!
Real atheists, it seems, are sincere about their beliefs (or non-beliefs?) and aren't out to treat everyone else like an ignorant child. (The real followers of Christ are like this, too.) These are the kind of atheists that you can invite to tea. The other kind you lock up in a closet until they can play nicely. (Translated into Christianity, you lock the ones up that can't give a good definition of love and call you Satan if you don't have good bumper-sticker beliefs.)
I know you just asked about atheism, but it seemed necessary to make the point that I wasn't attacking atheism, and that all belief systems have their faults (or their faulters).

strong atheists strongly believe there isn't a God, week atheists just don't believe in any God they know. Some people, although not believing in any deity, do see some spiritual meaning in life, those are spiritual atheists, buddists are spiritual atheists, they do not believe in any Gods, but still think they have to follow some moral ways, in order to become better people and free their souls of the cicle of reencarnation and reach nirvana, another level of existence.

You already know the answer. Of course there are. I'm kind of an agnostic athiest who appreciates some religious texts for their symbolic value. I've also met athiests who don't think, but KNOW there is no God. Whatever people want to believe is fine with me. I just wish everyone--Christians, athiests, etc. would quit throwing their stuff in other people's faces.

Types of Weak Atheists
Weak atheism is a very broad category. It includes, among others:
those who have never been introduced to the concept of God (implicit atheists)
those who don't care enough about God to believe or disbelieve (apatheists)
those who consider the question of God to be meaningless (ignostics)
those who don't believe it is possible to be certain of the existence of God (skeptics).
those who state that they personally have no knowledge of God (agnostics)
those who haven't made up their minds
those who have made up their minds, deciding that the evidence doesn't warrant belief
The only requirement is to be neither a theist (theists believe god exists) nor a strong atheist (strong atheists believe god does not exist).
Types of Strong Atheists
Strong atheism also has plenty of room for variation. This group includes, for example:
those who believe that God does not exist based on current evidence (including both those who would and those who would not change their belief based on new evidence)
those who claim to know that God does not exist
those who believe that the concept of God is contradictory
those who do not claim any logical reason for their belief
The only requirement is to accept as true the proposition "God does not exist".

Did you ever hear the saying "There are no athiests in fox holes"?
That tells me that there are not any true athiests. Everyone is given a measure of faith in God before they are born. How much hell and confusion do you need in your life before you need to find your relationship With Jesus? Don't you realize that we can go to hell without believing it? That is an effective tool that the devils use. They get you to believe that they don't exist. And if you don't believe in devils, how can you possibly believe in a God of Salvation! That is how reasoning works. There is a God that wants to bring you out of guilt, despair, havoc, confusion, immorality, etc. And His Name is Jesus Christ. He wants to have a personal relationship with You. You can experience a better life without all of that garbage!! Ignorance isn't bliss, it's bondage!! God's Word, the Bible tells us how to achieve this. Knock and He will answer, ask and He will hear. He is waiting on you!!!

I'm an atheist, but mostly in a technical sense - I don't believe in deities. But I'm a NeoPaganTaoist, and I believe in spiritual things.
Although I agree we can't really know, so maybe under it all I'm agnostic too ;-)

Shhh! The first rule of secret atheism is we do not talk about secret atheism.
Anyway, wikipedia has an interesting list of a lot of the various flavours:

yes practical and other types some say they believe in God but reject letting Jesus in their heart so they live like there is no God. and then there are all the way to the comedian athiest that really says there is no God-meaning they are God because they have to see every where and every way even spiritually to know there is no God.
Jesus is my God, savior and best friend! John 3 repented and born again!
