Is it legal in the US? Who makes it, and for how much? Where can i buy one, and any other information you have on them. I'm trying to learn more about guns.

The Desert Eagle in .50 AE is a semiautomatic pistol manufactured by Israel Military Industries (IMI) for Magnum Research. Yes, they're perfectly legal in the United States (in California, but not Massachusetts. Check your local gun laws.) Yes!! they are legal at least at the federal level maybe not the state level (some states have weird laws) they usually cost $1000 +-$200 the desert eagle is and Israeli made/designed gun and can be bought from any gun store they can order it if they don't have it in stock the major thing that sets the desert eagle apart from different pistols is that the whole top doesn't move to eject the spent shell just a small 3inch piece

Desert eagle .50 calliber manufactured by magnum reaserch in israel, is it legal? yes fortunately it is! you can order one from the internet,http://www.magnum.com custom ones come usually at the price of about $1500 or more depending on your specifications, however i wouldnt advise you as a beginner to start off with such a powerfull gun. thats the same calliber as a 416 remington!!!!!! (very powerful gun) thats used for hunting large game like elephant hippo and buffalo here in africa. i would recommend you start of with a glock 17 or the 32 special and once you have experience, you can move up to the baby desert eagle, the .44 calliber, its still very powerfull, but you have to have alot of practice before just trying to fire a gun of that size! good luck

It is legal in the USA and it is made by Magnum Research. You should be able to get one from any gun vendor but they are going to be high dollar. The first one I ever saw had an asking price of $1,600. What you should ask yourself is this: "Do I really need one?"

It is legal and in my opinion not something for home defense or to carry conceal.
It is more of a novelty then anything.

yes they are legal. magnum research is the manufacturer. you can get them at most gun shops, they go for around 1100
