Only a VERY few believe THAT. Most of us say that the first 6 'days' of creation were in fact 'times' or 'ages' of creation. Hebrew is kinda iffy that way. So we don't have a problem with a 12 billion year old universe.

Why do you have a problem with the idea that the Big Bang was initiated by an intelligent Entity big enough to know all about you, and loving enough to accept you anyway?

I believe that God has set (Time) as to Redemption of Man and all Things,6000 Yrs,The 1000 yr Reign just ahead,Now as to Age of the Cosmos,Earth included,I Don"t Know,there is therey by some that it is Millions of years old,God says in the Beginning God.I accept that.

God created the heavens and the earth, and that's all I need to know. I don't cre how long ago it was. Just that he did it. And it's not saying that it was created 7000 yrs ago, but that it took God that long to creat it. So the earth by by what the bible says is much older then 6000 yrs. Read!

Some do but I don't, to believe the bible i don't think you have to say the universe was created 6,000 years ago 7 days might have been 5sec or 10000000000000000000000000000000000 years
