I have long straight hair and I need a change. I am thinking about getting bangs. I'm not sure yet. would you recommend getting them? If I don't like them what can I do with them?

Yes Yes Yes, bangs are fun, they will make you look younger, you can always mousse them back and grow them out if you don't like them. Even older women wear them

I have long hair that I wear both curly and straight and I love my bangs! I can do so many things with them. But I will agree with the other person and say if you have oily hair then avoid bangs because they will always look thin and will never do what you want.
I will warn you though, you have to train bangs so it may take some time before you get the desired look.

Bangs are nice but take into consideration the face shape that you have. I found that people who have more lean, slender faces can pull off straight across bangs, where as if you have a more round, fuller face, the sideswept bangs look a lot better. Talk to your salon about what they would recommend. They're fun but also can be a pain as you usually have to change your hairstyle after getting them.

I don't recommend bangs. They tend to get in your eyes. They make you look like a kid and when they start to grow out there isn't much you can do with them. Also maintenance is high. Every time I have cut my hair, with bangs, I have regretted it. Long hair is romantic and most men love it on the pillow. good luck.

I would recommend cutting bangs that are a little longer. This way you can see if you like them or just sweep to the side and grow out again (which adds a new style also).

If your hair tends to be at all oily, DO NOT get bangs! They will always look greasy and you will have to wash them every single day. It will take forever for them to grow out again. Get a wig with bangs if you want to try them out.

Yes, Bangs are really in so far...they make you look younger and warm...if that is what you want...the weather is perfect right now..Dont recommend it for summer. Good Luck
