It seems like a a big pushwith rapidly growing liberal churches is to accept just about any behavior behind the banner that God is love and Christ embraces diversity.

But isn't this just a trap that Satan has set against Christian to go against the will of God without even knowing it?

the bible says that as many as God loves he rebukes and chastises and Christ says that many shall knock but few will enter. If Christ was about diversity and you can get into heaven with any kind of lifestyle you like, wouldnt Christ let everyone in who believed enough to knock?

Dont you think Satan used the message of love and diversity to deceive a third of the angels in heaven. He probably was like "God loves you too much to do anything bad to you...of course we can do whatever we like".

Cain did not worship God the way God asked. Satan probably told him - its okay to worship your way...God is love and will accept anything you do as long as its for him?

So many churches are falling for this trap

Not in and of themselves no. However I believe he does try to twist their meaning so that some Christians feel we should accept all kinds of behavior as God pleasing. Conversely, some Christians believe it is loving to burn at the stake (figuratively) any one who doesn't live according to the ten commandments. I believe Satan likes both extremes.

It is sad to me that you actually believe that love and tolerance are tools of the Devil. I pity you, and the miserable life you must live in. God did not intend or mankind to be at each others throats. If love is now a tool of the devil, well I guess that it was never a holy and loving gift to begin with. If that marks me as a liberal, I'm proud of it. Maybe you should change your views and be more accepting. Something we all need to realize in this life is that we may not be the ones who are right. We believe we are through faith, but we have no proof that the Muslims, or the Hindu's, or even the Atheists are the ones who are, in fact, correct. That is why love and tolerance are necessary. It is a pity that you can not see this. But I suppose that the ability to view ones own faith as something that may be wrong is a level of awareness that few reach or accept.

That's ridiculous. Satan using the message of love to ensnare Christians?

God IS love. The Bible says it over and over again. That means that if Satan uses love, he'd be using God. I see a problem with that theory.

And your assumptions about Cain and Satan...they are just that: assumptions. God didn't accept Cain's sacrifices because of the motives of his heart.

"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends."

That doesn't sound like a tool of Satan. It does, however, sound a lot like God.

You might try reading the whole of Matthew Chapter 5

Speaks of a lot of things, including a bit of love and tolerance.

So, are those tricks of Satan?

I have noticed that quite a few Christians pay more attention to the commentary in the New Testament instead of what Jesus is actually reported to have said.

Good point. There is a huge difference between God's love and the fake love of such "liberals". The latter is mere tolerance, and tolerance does not necessary require love: one can be tolerant but at the same time despise or even hate one's neighbour. The world needs love much more than mere "tolerance".

It seems to me that YOU are satan. God would want love and tolerance. Open your mind, for God's sake! Get a life and let others live theirs.

Wow, quite impressive, If I believed Satan actually existed and God was a sentient being I'd be convinced, I guess it's all a matter of faith, you have to believe you aren't being tricked, religion isn't usually compatible with cepticism...

I think you've taken the "many shall knock but few shall enter" out of context. As far as I am aware, that applies to those who have rejected Christ and only when faced with persecution or punishment, seek safety.

Humor may be Satan's attempt to ensnare Muslims. I've never seen a Muslim laugh....
