I suffered Carbon Monoxide poisoning a year ago. Breathed it for two years. A slow leak. Now i am having serious problem, my head feels very strange all the time. loud ringing in my ears constantly. I feel so sick all over that I just feel like I can't go anymore. I can't even drive a car now. I acquired Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia from the poisoning but this is different. I know what panic is this is not it. I absolutly feel sick all over, I have gained 25 lbs in a couple of months and I can't hardly sleep at all. I stay so dizzy that it is a big don't to bend over, I will feel like I am falling. My balance is really off and has been for a long time. I guess you could say I am too sick to even get help. when I do go to the doctor they act like I am a nut, so many symptoms. I am very weak in body. If you know anyone that has suffered this please tell me. I need a start. I suffer greatly everyday just to make it through.

Why dont u take it easy for some time. So much of worrying, I believe has taken u nowhere. So let thing take their own course, dont just keep on thinking that u have very serious problem. I think it might ultimately be revealed that it was all in ur mind

Carbon monoxide poisoning isn't something that should effect you physically a year later. The symptoms you describe are pretty diverse, weight gain could be thyroid, or another glandular imbalance, insomnia can have many many causes, and the dizziness could be any number of inner ear problems, from infection to hereditary disease. My suggestion would be to pick one symptom at a time and seek treatment for that. Not a quick fix, but it's a place to start.

I was sick about 9 years ago, I had so many symptoms that I think my doctor thought I was crazy. I was sick for two and a half years, and nothing seemed to help. All my doctors wanted to do was keep giving me medication, and nothing helped.

I had pain right through the middle of my abdomen that went through to my back, I was in pain all the time. I use to get rash on my face and I itched all over except that I didn't have a rash any where else that you could see. I got headaches all the time and felt like I was going to fall over like my balance was gone.

Some times I would be so hungry that I felt sick to my stomach like I hadn't eaten for a week. When I would eat I felt like I'd never be full like I couldn't get enough food. The only thing that my doctor could find was that all of a sudden I had low blood sugar and that was all.

At another time a doctor said I had irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) except that the symptoms I had didn't match the disease they told me I had.

A friend finally said I should try seeing a chiropractor, that he had a really good one, I thought why not no one else had been able to help, so I figured I'd give it a try. I'd put up with this for so long and was at the end of my rope and I'm sure you know what I mean.

Long story short, after going to him for three weeks I was back to normal, I went to him three times a week. I kept going for a year to make sure every thing remained normal.

He told me that I had three places in my back that were subluxated (twisted) and one in my neck that was causing my symptoms. He said that because they were twisted they way they were it was like turning off a light switch. Every thing from your brain runs down your spine through the nerves etc.... and so every thing is running controls off of the spine from your brain. So that if any area is twisted it shuts off the power to that area and will cause you problems. Its like if you turn off a light switch your lights won't come on and your sitting in the dark.

As I said after three weeks of going to him all my symptoms went away, I was back to normal. Even my blood sugar went back to normal levals. No pain, itching, rash, low blood sugar, headachs or the feeling of loosing my balance. I have never had another problem again.

I finally had my life back again. Maybe you should give it a try, what do you have to loose other than your symptoms, take back your life. They take an x-ray from the jaw area on down to the bottem of your spine, just so that you know.

I will keep you in my prayers as I know how it feels to feel so bad, God Bless you.

You need a doctor who will treat your symptoms and also treat your as a person who has many problems.

write down all your symptoms and when you see your doctor have the list of concerns down on paper and list them as ranking for the most important to the least important. omit nothing.

Doctors time is valuable and too often people don't communicate with them in the right manor and to put it bluntly it is not getting any better as of the shortage of good doctor rs. You have to be your best advocate when it comes to seeing your Doctor.

The only treatment that I have heard of, for this type of illness is a hyperbaric chamber treatment.
I don't know if this would help you, but it may be something to check out.
Here's a webste that explains it better than I could. :)

Good Luck.
