Also, you could call your local hospital. We have a program which is called "Free Care". She could apply for that and that would cover her expenses. If your hospital doesn't have "Free Care", ask the hospital if they know which one is closest. Most hospitals do in our area.

Yes you have options. Try contacting your local American Cancer Society they may be able to help. They may also be able to point you to other agencies that can help.

Additionally, you and your girl-friend could get second or third jobs to deal with medical expenses.

wow, it happens and just like a women would see a doctor and get him or her checking on his breast. Yes the gov't has money for this and you might want to check with your gov't social services.
