I think I'll take my dollar, put it with 49 of its brothers that I haven't squandered on speculative risk and go make a loan at Prosper.com. I'll earn 15% or so on my investment, give 10% of my earnings to charity and reinvest the balance.
After a 20 or 30 years worth of making this a habit I will have earned plenty of money, given away about as much as you collected and helped a lot of people with their personal finances in the process. Many of those I helped wouldn't need my loan (at a lucrative interest rate to me) if they didn't put their dollars into lotteries and other forms of social gaming.
