I don't get why people believe he is the son of god or god himself. To me by definition god is perfect and all powerfull. That's what makes god.. god. If god had imprefections and had limited power then there could be other gods or something can achieve the same status. so if god had a son that is human, that would make god not perfect because the offspring of perfection should be perfect as well.. also why do people belief that prophets had powers. if any creature had any powers that would take from gods power and show that he has imprefections. and why in the world do people think jesus is god? i don't want to insult anybody but that does not make sense. isn't that worshiping a person? that's like worshiping an idol, which is sinful in all religions but hinduism. I'm not bashing any religion, i just want clarification that is not "oh it says in the bible" or " just have faith" it says in the bible there were no dinasaurs but those make-believe bones in museums are so believable.

Anyone can claim to be God, but what evidence is there to support their claim? The answer is clear: None. But Jesus Christ was different, and the reason is because He not only claimed to be God, but His whole life was a witness to its truth. Because of that, He alone could truthfully say, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

What evidence is there for Jesus' divinity? The first is that of His sinless life—something only God could do. The Bible says Jesus was "tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). Then there is the evidence of His miracles—miracles that demonstrated the power of God.

But the final proof of Jesus' divine nature was His resurrection from the dead. Anyone could claim to be the Son of God, but only Christ proved it by coming back from the grave—an event witnessed by hundreds. Who was Jesus Christ? He was God in human flesh—and He came into this world for one reason: to save us from our sins. Why not open your heart to Him today?

Jesus is the Son of God, He had two natures, Divine and Human, the "Purpose":
To redeem the humans from sin.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever belived in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Mary begot Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus exists before the world begun " In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
and the Word become flesh and duelth amongst us, we beheld His glory.
Thus proving Him two natures, the Word as God and the Flesh as Human.
The Porpuse?
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death unto the cross.

To redeem us from sins.
"When there is no shedding of blood there is no remission of sins."

For you bro. booster:

the rebellious angels thrown down from heaven here on earth are called demons, who will testify with trembling that Jesus is the Holy One of God, if they believed that are demons then how much more for us? only a man? not to believed! are we worst that the demons?

Jesus is not God. Jesus is a son of God, not the only son of God, since God has many sons. As a son of God Jesus christ suffered for the sins of other sons so that they may learn lesson and go back to God.

Just by rubber stamping someone as Christian or Hindu will not help one. One has to follow the instructions of Christ in order to be a Christian. One has to follow the Vedas in order to be a Hindu(the word Hindu is used in a conventional way) universal non-sectarian follower of the same of God of Christ, Mohammed, Buddha, etc..

This is just for removing the misconception that Hindus worship idols, it is to be understood, that while some Hindu may worship, it is not the standard for the Hindus to worship the idols.

In Hindu tradition there are two kinds of practitioners;-
1. the neophyte transcendentalist worshiping the absolute truth as impersonal
2. advanced transcendentalists are the one worshiping absolute truth as a personality of Godhead, since ultimately God is a person.

Vedas give specific details to installs the deity(not idol) for worshiping in the temple. It is called Sri Murti, Arca Vigraha(Deity)

The word Hindu is not found in the Vedas, the revealed scriptures for the practitioners of Sanatana Dharma(eternal relgion). When the Persions attacked India, they called the people living across the river Sindhu as Hindus since they could not prnounce Sindhu. Any way for conventional usage let us use the word Hindu.

Jesus Himself said He was the Son of God,and who said Jesus had imperfections? He was a man in appearance, because He humbled Himself to become like us.That is one of the things that make Him so attractive to me.Imagine that God loved us so much that He would condescend to become like that, even being humiliated and dying the death of a criminal when He had committed no sin, simply to save us.Man could not reach up to God so He reached down to us.and the Bible does not say there were no dinosaurs. What of behemoth,or leviathan?

The bible tells of great dragons, we call them dinasaurs. The bible tells us that Jesus was always with God. The bible tells us that God is perfect. The bible tells us all the answers that we need. Not the answers that we want.

You are blessed by God Almighty. A human cannot be a God. Jesus(pbuh) never said that he is God. People after him changed the translation of Bible bcz they couldn't change the word of God. They lost the original text. Now u don't know what God said.
Trust your heart and mind!.. there is no God but God... now search for the true religion.

i agree with u,in the bible, you won't find a single phrase saying clearly enough that jesus is a god or even a son of a god, and that's what islam says, jesus isn't a god, but islam admit's that jesus is a prophet and for me as a muslim i believe in christ as a prophet exactly as prophet mhd and i love him as much as i love prophet mhd and when i'm praying i don't ask for help from prophet mhd neither than jesus, but i ask for it directly from god.
so as a resume the single difference between christanity and islam is the "son of a god" case. so,...

He always knew that he was the son of God. He was in Heaven with the Father before coming to us in the flesh.

seem up the be conscious "homoousius." It explains it. Jesus is "of" God, technically "of a similar substance." That makes him God to boot. And a man or woman - the two, on a similar time. that's a common, center, Christian perception.
