Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

A tummy tuck is VERY invasive surgery, but the outcome is amazing! I know a couple women who've had it done, my mom being one of them! You'll have a scar, prolly from hip to hip, but it will be low..and a new tight belly button. Drains for two weeks, which is prolly the worst part, but like I said, in the end you will be happy. A good doc won't perform this type of surgery unless he/she feels it is warranted. Go talk to a professional, they'll help you decide what's best for you! Talke care and good luck! ;-D

I haven't had one, but I'm tempted to get one after having children...

There is a tummy tuck forum at: http://www.breasthealthonline.com that could help you out.

No one should have cosmetic surgery unless it is something they desire on their own. Keep losing weight, and most of the excess skin will shrink back up to size and you can determine whether a tummy tuck is for you or not at a later time.

Congrats, by the way. :)
