Ritz buys from a number of sources who are willing to relabel their product if the order is big enough. There is no set answer as to who makes the lenses. A lens of the same description might actually be made by one manufacturer this year and another the next, so with old stock, you don't even know what you are getting.

Sigma seems to be mentioned most often, but why not just buy a Sigma if that's what you are after? The price is not all that much higher and at least you know what you have.

Alan is correct. I will add, take what the Ritz people tell you with a grain of salt. They are there to sell you something. Best to do your research somewhere else!
