There are several places where the scriptures refer to a mystery, but it also explains the mystery.
The mystery of the whore in Revelation is explained.
The mystery of the grace of God given to the Gentiles is explained.
The only thing that is mysterious are the things that are no mentioned in the scriptures, i.e.: 'can our loved ones in heaven see what is happening here on earth?'.
The job of the pastor is to train the saints to do the work of the church. Ephesians 4:11,12.
As Christians we should not seek council about the things of heaven, or the spirit world, from any other source than the scriptures.

Life itself is a mystery. Without study and revelation from God, there is not much we can truly know and understand. The Holy Spirit inside has to guide you to the truth. That is one reason much of life is mystery to those who consider themselves wise. It is all foolishness to them. God created this whole universe and it is based upon natural and spiritual laws. Neither of them will cross the other out. They have to, must work in conjuction with each other. Yet, because of our limitations and choices not to live as He instructed, we have removed ourselves from the closeness of his power and the abilities that he has given us - therefore, the mysteries that we should know of, we don't. For example - I firmly believe that man was able to communicate with animals and plants prior to the sin of man - and when the sin occured, we were separated from our true Father and all the 'mysteries' that would have been revealed. Now we have to wait for the revelation - but only if we believe and have a true relationship and fellowship with Him. I do not believe that God withholds any good thing from us and we only have to ask - the trouble is - we never ask. We are not like little children who believe by faith - everything has to be proven to us. It's our tongue that makes our lives come into existence -and our thoughts. What you believe in your heart will come forth from your mouth - in curses or blessings to you and to others also. The power of the tongue. And yes, it is a universal - natuaral and spiritual law......you can have what you say.

Anothony, go back to the Word, and take another look. Knowledge is both good and evil. In Genesis 3:4-5, what did satan say to Eve?
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
What the Word says in James, is that, we hold the power of life and death in our tongues. What we speak causes blessings or curses.
And your last statement is scripturally sound, what we sow; we reap.
Remember always review the Word, after hearing a teaching. God bless you!

Because knowledge does not come by sitting back and thinking its all been said. The Job of the clergy is to tell you just that. They are there to get you not to think, they are there to close the path. The job of the mystic and the artist is to open that pathway up again and to learn more about what is now unknown. Each time we are all better for it, but each time some preist or pharisees with a church comes along and closes it up again until someone else comes along to break that block apart.

when people don't understand something they just easily call it a mystery, but they have a choice to find out their misunderstanding. but most of them chooses lazy to leave it like what it is. too much or little knowledge is evil. wsdom will save you.

It's simple: PRIDE. Some are too prideful to admit that someone, somewhere could be greater than them. So, they decide to disregard the truth and make their own. What they don't realize is that there can only be one truth: We were created in God's image, and therefore we have minds. Minds that are unbelieveable. However, no mind could ever understand our universe. Only It's creator can do that. I'm thankful to call Him my daddy, GOD.

The secret things belong to YHVH, and the things He has revealed belong to us. Therefore it is clear that much is a mystery. We will be learning throughout Eternity, so anyone who thinks he knows it all now, knows very little.

Yeah, but until "The Time" we're allowed to wonder. What makes you think it's coming any time soon, anyway? Besides, I like mystery....

The only reason people say that everything is a mystery is that they are ignorant people... NOTHING is a mystery... it's only seen that way by people who know nothing of the sciences... and to those people, everything is a mystery.

What if knowledge says the word of god is worthless.
You're on the right path but I bet you reject the implications.
