Lack of sleep, no interest in my daily routine, feelings of deep sadness, headaches, constantly reminiscing, definite suicidal tendencies. I had a wall near a straight stretch of road earmarked as a potential fatal accident spot, and had tested how fast I would be driving, before hitting it semi-head on. I went for counselling and my doctor prescribed medication. I took stock of my life and even though I am still on a low dose of anti depressants( I now take half a Zispin Soltab--15mg) at night. I feel more relaxed and am sleeping well. Incidentally it was pressure at work which led to my depressive state, but I have this sorted. I hope you are well soon.

Everything that Jim mentioned except I had a deserted area not seen from the road and a pipe from the exhaust to the cabin of the car. There's more but I'm not going to glorify it. I have a plan, that's all.
No self worth. Constantly hounded at work to produce more work which means I have to take work home to complete it. Given other people's work to do as well as my own.
I'm in the middle of this now. I'm not on medication but I see someone on Tuesday for a review. Will ask for medication then. Also up for further help later this month.
And yes, I feel all of the things that you mention. People call me hard hearted but it's only because I really don't care who lives or who dies. Except my cat. She is the only reason I am still alive.
I know it would devastate my family if I died but it doesn't bother me.
I also had a similar (lesser) incident about 17 years ago when I very nearly died in a car accident. It didn't make me take stock of what I had and to plan to live a better and fuller life. But shortly after that, the cat arrived home and was abandoned by my sibling. So I took to looking after the cat and all these years later I am still looking after her.

i hated myself had no self esteem believed i was useless no good at anything felt no one liked me that there was something in my personality that was obnoxious but didn't know what felt unworthy to mix with anyone even when a friend would tell me different i couldn't believe them and thought you just don't know me but when you know what I'm really like you won't like me or else i felt they were only being friendly so they could use me. my mind was running wild, had a lot of bad thoughts about people cried a lot of the time.wouldn't say no most of the time was a people pleaser had difficulty sleeping didn't want to get out of bed or get washed/dressed found doing simple things such as phoning garage to get the car seen to too much bother started thinking about my parents who had been dead for 10and 20 years and wanted to go back to the days when i was young and they were still alive . couldn't concentrate. had feelings of unreality at times as if i was just watching the the things going on around me but i wasn't there .probably more but can't remember in short i was a mess

Yes, yes, yes and yes! I felt hopeless, worthless, trapped and isolated. I didn't leave the house much and didn't want to see anybody or go anywhere. I felt like there was no purpose to my life and I though about suicide. I drank myself into oblivion trying to escape it and self medicate. Thankfully I was prescribed prozac which helped me to come out of the fog and see things more clearly. I was able to think straight again and see a future for myself. I highly recommend getting help for anxiety and depression before it ruins your life.
